Choosing a bitrate
64–96 kbps is enough for voice notes and lectures. 128 kbps sounds clean for speech and podcasts. 192 kbps is a good choice for music. The MP3 can never sound better than the video’s original audio, so higher settings don’t add quality to a low-quality source.
