When you need JPG instead of WebP
Some older apps, print services, email clients and upload forms still only accept JPEG. Converting at 90% quality keeps images looking the same while making them universally compatible.

Choosing the JPEG quality
The default of 90% keeps converted images visually identical to the WebP originals. For email attachments or upload forms with size limits, 80% is a good balance; use the Compress to 100 KB tool if you need to meet an exact limit.
Because the source WebP was already lossy, very high JPEG quality settings mainly preserve its existing artifacts rather than adding detail – there is little point going above 92%.

Why is my JPG bigger than the WebP?
WebP compresses more efficiently than JPEG, so the converted JPG is often somewhat larger. Lower the quality to around 80% if size matters.
Can I convert a whole folder of WebP files?
Yes. Pick the folder and every WebP inside it – including subfolders – is converted. File names stay the same with a .jpg extension.
Are animated WebP files supported?
Only the first frame is converted, because JPEG can’t hold animation.
